According to the RCMP in British Columbia, one individual is unaccounted for after a vehicle plunged into the Squamish River.
Emergency services in Squamish promptly responded early Saturday when a car carrying four people veered off the road into the river.

Authorities report that three of the four individuals reached safety, but one remains missing.
Officers, in collaboration with the Squamish fire department and search-and-rescue teams, attempted to locate both the vehicle and the missing individual but were unsuccessful.
Search and rescue teams are still working to find the missing person.
Police have indicated that more information will be shared at a later time.
