Solid construction. Read the instructions and don’t use rechargeable batteries.
Just got these, so I don’t know about durability or battery life. But first impression = great! They’re solidly put together. I did need the instructions from Rufus to figure out how to get to the batteries. One thing that’s important to note is that the little screws on the bottom don’t get you into the battery compartment. You unscrew the whole base. It took a couple of tries going slowly to screw it back on, but again – it was solid. Repeat clicks of the ‘on’ button change the light intensity.It’s also important to note that you shouldn’t use rechargeable batteries. The written included instructions don’t mention that, but inside the battery cover, it says “Warning: Do not use rechargeable batteries”. Just 3 good old “D” batteries will do the trick. I certainly don’t want a power outage to have to use these, but am glad to know that I have them now, just in case

Great lightweight lantern for the price!
Surprisingly good lantern for the price! It has three settings, one of which includes a flashing strobe. I really like how lightweight it is. I don’t know how durable it will be in the long run but it’s lasted a few months now and I use it every time there’s bad weather. REALLY bright though!

Good lantern for those times when the power goes out.
I got these last summer after Hurricane Beryl and my power was off for 8 days. They really came in handy! My kitchen is a bit dark and one of these gave enough light for me to be able to cook on my natural gas stove. I’ve recommended them to a couple of people since then. They are bright enough to read by at night, too. They are very affordable.

No + or – symbol on the actual lantern so instructions were key. I like the warm light option in case you would rather not have it on the brightest setting. Happy with them after only trying them out briefly and will be buying a couple more.

Excellent Lantern! Very Bright Light I purchased for my 91 year old aunt and her Special Needs daughter. It was BRIGHT enough for my aunt to be able to see and easy enough for her Special Needs daughter to learn how to use. The batteries were simple to put in. It was lightweight easy enough for my 91 year old aunt to carry by the handle and push her rolling walker. EVERYONE was HAPPY ð!

Absolutely love these. So simple to use. Put batteries in. Push the button. That’s it. The size is so perfect. They are light so you can carry them around. The light is not blinding. Almost a soft light. They were not that expensive so you can buy enough to put around the house or gift them.

I got these for my husband to use in the ice shack when he is out ice fishing. Great! It made seeing the dark ice holes much easier and baiting hooks etc…was easier as well. Would purchase again or recommend.

Despite a blip in the delivery date the lamps have now arrived and are everything thatI had hoped that they would be. They are exceedingly bright and in fact I have to turn the brightness down which is good because it increases the battery life, They look good and work well. I am extremely pleased with my purchase

Excelente compra a increÃble precio! Vi que se venden un montón de lámparas similares con tonos de luz horrible y aún más horrible cantidad de lumens… y luego venden algunas que son recargables solares y cosas asà con pilas de litio que no sirven para nada en una emergencia en casa si se va la luz (ni que la tuvieras cargada siempre jaja). Estas con 3 baterÃas tipo D está perfecta. Tiene una muy razonable selección de 3 temperaturas con diferentes intensidades, con la luz neutra llegando a 1000 lm y la cálida más tenue lo cual es excelente. Y aparte se puede dimmear! El gancho giratorio es bastante práctico para que las puedas cargar, y aparte tiene un ganchito por abajo para que las cuelgues de cabeza si estas de camping o algo. Y son mucho más compactas de lo que pensé. Probablemente compre otro par.
