74-INCH LIGHTWEIGHT TRIPOD – This is a lightweight tripod that can be adjusted in height from 20 to 74 inches. There is a 1/4 mounting bolt on the quick release plate, suitable for cameras and cell phones. It folds down to just 19 inches for easy portability, making it ideal for frequent changes in shooting locations and travel. Despite its weight of only 2.8 pounds, it can support weights of up to 8.8 pounds.
STABLE TRAVEL TRIPOD – This tripod is made of durable engineering plastic and lightweight aluminum alloy, offering strength without adding bulk. It remains stable in mild outdoor breezes (up to wind force 3) and has a hook at the base of the center column for adding weights, improving stability even against minor impacts.
360° ADJUSTMENT OF THE HEAD – The tripod head features horizontal and vertical rotation capabilities (controlled by tightening and loosening the handle), ensuring your camera or smartphone can be freely adjusted within a 360° range to align with your target. The Bubble Level Indicator at the base of the center column position helps you align your camera to the indicated horizontal position.
SMOOTH AS SILK ROTATION OF THE HEAD – This tripod has undergone multiple optimizations and upgrades, with each component meticulously crafted to reduce errors. As a result, the tripod head’s joints rotate smoothly like silk, ensuring precise alignment without any focus loss when tracking. Impressive Quality and Versatility at a Great Price!
Iâve been using the CAMBOFOTO 74â Professional Aluminum Tripod for a few weeks now, and itâs exceeded my expectations in every way. The build quality is solid and sturdyâdefinitely feels like a professional-grade tripod. The aluminum construction is lightweight yet strong enough to support my DSLR, mirrorless camera, and even my smartphone with no issues. The 360-degree adjustable head is smooth and easy to control, which makes framing shots a breeze, especially for time-lapse or panoramic photography. The adjustable legs and center column give me a ton of flexibility with height and angle, and it extends impressively tall at 74 inches. The included phone holder is a great touch, and the carrying bag makes travel and storage super convenient. Whether youâre into photography, videography, or content creation with a GoPro or phone, this tripod is a fantastic investment. Highly recommend it for both beginners and pros looking for quality on a budget!

For the price, a good deal but there is an issue for specific usage.
A good deal for the price, no doubt.Just a few things to be aware of.1. The up/down and left/right movement mechanism is not as smooth as in known brand expensive tripods. It requires a bit more effort, and as a result, when video camera is zoomed in live shooting, the image will “jump” when you move it, it will not be smooth transitions. More zoom = more noticeable jumps during movement.2. During zoomed video shooting it is clearly noticeable that mechanism does not lock properly. Even after I am done moving the zoomed in camera, and tighten the handles, it is clearly visible that the picture keeps “moving” a bit. Camera is not heavy at all but at times image keeps “moving down”. I must lock it very tight to make sure image remains static. It is a big issue when using it zoomed in x90 and up.The above is not an issue for basic usage, so the tripod is a great deal overall.

Perfect tripod for smartphones
A very good tripod for cell phones. However, the accessories are made of plastic, so you must be careful when handling them to avoid breaking the parts. They don’t seem flimsy, but being made of plastic, they are less durable.

Very lightweight, pretty tall, pretty good for the low cost but received with a broken part!
There are good and bad points regarding this tripod. The legs are made from a strong, very lightweight aluminum alloy and the plastic locking tabs engage well. I only received it today so not sure how they will hold up over time, but so far, they seem to work very well. The bottom swivel feet accommodate uneven surfaces and have a decent friction. Again, not sure how they will hold up. I suspect if you are careful, I mean really CAREFUL, and handle the tripod GENTLY it will hold up and do a good job. There is a log of plastic used in the construction of the top-end, so that is the area where I expect you might see a failure, hopefully on a component you can repair or replace easily.I do not like the fact the head-end moving parts do not tighten up securely. I want to be careful to not over torque any of the locking screws, but I feel they need to be torqued somewhat tightly to keep the tripod stable.Bear in mind this is a $35 device, so if the seller used a lot more metal parts in construction it would be more expensive and also heavier. The tradeoff of light weight and low cost make this tripod attractive. As I said earlier, I believe if you are careful and gentle in how you adjust the thing it can work well and it is certainly quite light for carrying with you. The storage bag with strap makes it easy to throw it over your shoulder and the light weight will feel like you are almost carrying nothing at all.The MAJOR ANNOYANCE and inconvenience for me was that the spring-loaded phone clip was actually broken. Not the plastic itself, but the two plastic components (top & bottom) were attached together at the fixed end but not attached at the other end where you pull out the moving end of the phone clamp. When I tried to make it hold my phone the moving end pulled completely out, and the two tensioning springs popped out.I was able to repair it myself, which took me 45 minutes. It was quite difficult to compress the two springs into their respective channels. I tried several different methods and ended up using a dental pick with a curved hook at one end and a 45-degree bend at the other end. I managed to get one side together with the spring behind the end of the channel. I then held that half of the device top and bottom closed while I pried the other side up and managed to finally get the second spring into the channel and behind the end of the channel. The two springs are set up to compress when you pull out the working end of the clamp and the force of those two compressed springs holds the clamp firmly against the phone. Once I got the springs in place I applied some superglue in an attempt to keep those two parts (top and bottom with springs and channels inside) together. I applied some superglue with a toothpick working it down into the very small space between the two edges of the top/bottom halves. I held them together tightly with my fingers for more than 60 seconds and then applied some thin and very sticky duct tape to hold them together firmly for 24 hours to cure the superglue.I could not ascertain whether there was supposed to be a plastic closure (kind of like a rivet where you heat a protruding leg of plastic to expand and seal the two halves or if there were supposed to be two screws to hold the two halves together. The screws idea was because there were two recessed holes with a smooth cone-like recesses perfect for two flat head screws and it looked like there might be a post with a hole inside to receive the threads of the screws, thereby holding the two halves together. In any case, it appeared there was nothing visible to hold the two halves together, neither a plastic fusion/rivet nor screws. It really ticked me off to have to perform DIY mechanical surgery on a brand-new item!I bought this tripod to hold a 100W, 10000lm LED light at 6500 degrees K on a U-shaped swivel mount attached to the 1/4-20 screw usually used to attach a camera or base plates to a tripod. With a maximum height of 74 inches, the LED lamp would be sufficiently high to either bounce off the ceiling for a very bright but even light or turned down to a 45-degree angle to illuminate a jigsaw puzzle table or in the shop when I need an awesomely bright light. Technically I can fit my application to this tripod however I also may want to use it for a phone or a DSLR for photography.I already mounted a similar light on an 84″ tall IV hanging pole with a very wide base for stability and it works very well. Now I want to try one on a tall photography tripod. I could return the defective tripod and wait for a replacement, but I need to proceed with my light application, hence doing my own repair.I would normally rate this item at 4 stars, but given receiving it with a defect I dropped that to 3 stars.

This is better than the one I had been using for over 10 years. It finally broked apart so I bought this one and it is even better. I love the phone attachment and the height. Not as sturdy as my old one but it is light weight and compact so it is easy to travel around with which is enough for what I need. I recommend this product.
