Best remote shutter release I have found.
I tested three other shutter releases before deciding on this one.The others used two AAA batteries for the receiver and the transmitter. This Godox brand release uses two AA batteries for each instead.Given equal brand batteries, AA batteries last longer than AAA batteries; so that is one positive. The receiver and transmitter is sturdy and well made. With the AA batteries, the transmitter and receiver weigh a bit more. There are 32 channels to choice from, so you should never be stuck without having a signal. The other three releases I tried just had one or two channels. The transmitter has an orange ringed shutter button which is easy to find. There is also the normal delay and multi-release modes. The only negative is that the receiver, which fits in your hot shoe, and does not have a tightening wheel – knob. It uses friction to secure it, which isn’t as secure as the wheel-knob arrangement.I have a Canon 5d & 6d, so this kit came with two cords. One or the operating the transmitter/receiver and one just for attaching the transmitter for shutter releases. This is a good choice for remote release operation.

Godox wireless remote for camera
Once I figured out the small remote needed a cord to the camera they worked perfectly. Wireless remote was a little miss leading.

Not working on Canon 7D II
I bought the remote as the description says it works on Canon 7D II. It does not. In the single shot mode the remote triggers the shutter immediately when I touch the button with no green light (half-stop) step. In the bulb mode the remote does make the camera start and does not let it stop. I had to turn off the camera.

Stopped working right after the support window ended
This remote was working great until the receiver stopped turning on just a few days after the support window here on amazon closed. Due to this I couldnât reach the seller and the manufacturer only services via the seller. I would appreciate having this fixed or replaced if possible.

Used for astrophotography, hated the instructions
Start with the bad: Only rating 4/5 because of the instructions. The instructions were awful and it took me months to finally understand how this thing works. Iâve never used one before so this is coming from a new user to remote triggers/intervalometers in general for reference. However, I LOVE this setup now that I get it. The cord is perfect size for my camera to be comfortably out of the way and looks pretty seamless. The battery life lasted about 20hrs of continuous use when I used it for long nights of astrophotography. The receiver also fits snugly into my hot shoe which I appreciate too. I would recommend this to anyone.

Does everything needed and then goes beyond. Great distance for use and works no matter the weather or cover.

Awesome range
I’m not sure what all the model listings are about. It came with the right cable and works fine with my R6 mkii. There is also a cable for older D series cameras. In typical intervalometer fashion, it will miss a frame now and then, especially when the shots are very close together. If the camera can’t focus it will shut down the series. If desired, you can use a modded cable (Google) to stop the autofocus on each frame. I actually built a mod extension so that I can use any stock cable and defeat the focus just by inserting the extra cable in the trigger chain. This works like any other intervalometer I’ve owned, and the user set up is typically intuitive. This one is different in that you have a second timer that will restart your sequence after a set amount of time. In other words, you set it up as normal, then the whole set up can be repeated as many times as you wish without a manual restart. This has amazing range. I could trigger the camera in the basement from the first floor, a good diagonal distance through the floor and a couple of walls.Uses standard AA’s for both units which is a definite plus. Carbons worked fine of course. I popped in a couple NiMH’s that tested at 1.28v. The unit worked as it should though the battery meter did show fully discharged.Worked fine when hooked direct to the controller for a wired, remote trigger function. Good for macros, fireworks and such. There is nothing in the manual regarding triggering Godox lights, though the product description says it’s possible. Perhaps that is done by the camera in actual practice, but I don’t really know since I don’t have any of their lights yet.Common batteries, excellent range and a second interval timer. Priced competitively to the brand X IR units and vastly superior. Recommended.
Okay, but problems –
Had to find a video on setting this up itâs a great unit but could be easier to set up

Puoâ tornare utile in diverse situazioni.
