Overall effect varies by scenario
I have tried this several times and under some circumstance it has reduced the glare significantly and in others it has had minimal noticeable effect. It is easy to attach and use, the only question is if the scenario you are using will be improved or not and by how much. I still take with me and use, but have a realistic expectation.

Excellent for those of us with DSLR cameras and lots of 52mm filters. Now I can use those same filters in this holder, with my phone. The star filter itself is a standard 8 point, good optical glass. Comes double cased, so it’s easy enough to slip into a backpack or even my purse. The clip itself is a bit bulky by nature, as is needed. It does work on my case – barely. It certainly works better if I take my iPhone 16 pro out of it’s case and clip the filter on at that point. Star filters work best with strong light sources aka high contrast lighting. So sunrise/sets, sparkling water at dusk, candle flames, dock lights at dusk, even doing portraits with shiny jewelry depending on how you light the subject. My other filters (ND, etc.) of the same mm easily fit into the holder. It’s been fun experimenting. I have a new motorola phone and this fits that as well. If you are new to using camera filters – you’ll want to google how best to use star filters creatively.

Cool wide eye lens clip for my iPhone, easy to use and very clear pictures unless most gives you a blurry lens. Clip is very big so might be hard to put inside purse or just pocket

Lightweight. Non-damaging padded plastic clip. Only works for glare on certain things.
I’m using this clip-on polarizer for the phone to reduce glare and reflection in phots of things indoors, and get better color saturation for plants and other things that have sun glare outside. It only works for specific types of glare, like on glass or water at certain angles. Fits well on my smartphones with cases. Clip is all plastic, with padding on ring and clip, so no chance of damaging phone. I like that polarizer is standard 52 mm so base can be used for other (lightweight) attachments, like ND filters. Carrying bag is sturdy, and assembled filter with clip fits in easily.Whole thing is lightweight so it holds on phone well. Clip does cover some of screen on other side. Polarizer blocks about 58% of light, so camera has to use a longer shutter. It does not appear to have an AR coating (no color tint in reflection, and reflection is as bright as clear glass). Polarizer is a little noisy rotating around. Filter definitely works, totally blocking image from LCD monitor when rotated just right.

It’s missing pieces, but when you read the FAQs, it says it’s not and that the lens has an expandable ring that creates different effects. It does NOT. As a result, I haven’t been able to use it. Also, no instructions on how to use it.If you think this lens will let you take camera quality photos with your iphone, it won’t.

Iâve been using this CPL filter for my phone, and so far, itâs been pretty good. The filter feels well-made and doesnât feel too cheap. The clip that holds the filter in place is actually pretty sturdy. It has rubber padding near the ends, so it doesnât scratch up my phone. When it comes to using the filter, I think it does a great job of reducing reflections, especially from shiny surfaces like water. The filter is rotatable, so I can adjust how much of the reflection I want to remove. My pictures look more natural without the glare, and I really like using it. Overall, I think itâs a decent filter for the price, especially if you’re just trying to take the best shots using a phone camera.

When I’m out taking photos with my SLR, I almost always use a polarizer, so I have been looking for a way to use one in my iPhone photography as well. A polarizer helps boost the colour saturation in photos by reducing unwanted light reflections and shine. A polarizer can also make the blue in the sky really pop, but you need to be careful to not overdo it and make the sky unnaturally dark.I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and this filter holder covers the entire camera area, including all three lenses.I’m looking forward to seeing the difference it makes in my photos, especially with landscapes and anything that tends to have a lot of glare.
