Worked like a dream!
I used these to cover my ZIO patch that I am to wear for 14 days to shower. I was struggling to find something to cover my patch effectively as I cannot get it drenched. These work super great, were waterproof, and stuck really well. These did not come off or lift when there was soap as well. Did make my skin a little red, but that is to be expected with things that are sticking to your skin. I cut these up to my desired length, used a piece of napkin as a barrier in the middle so it wouldnât stick to my the actual patch itself and worked like a dream!

Best shower covers for central lines/ PICC
I’ve tried multiple other shower covers for my line and I’ve found that even the best her only about 75% effective. There’s still a tendency to leak and needs to have screws backup. So as I was searching for alternative products, I came across these ones and decided to give them a try. They are the best that I’ve tried so far and I have not had any problems with leaking. The only caveat is that the whole film is sticky, so if you don’t want it to stick to your line, you need to use something like a piece of glad press and seal or something similar over your line first before putting the shower cover on. But even doing that is virtually hassle-free compared to what I normally do to make sure my line doesn’t get wet from the shower. Highly recommend. Also, if you didn’t know this already, if you use alcohol swabs around the outside of your line on your skin wher the barrier is going to come in contact with your skin, it helps remove dead skin cells/sweat, etc, and the cover sticks better.

Great product
My mom had a procedure done on her stomach, and needed a covering for the shower. These worked perfectly for her purposes. The adhesive seals well and keeps water out, protecting her wound and the port.

Works Well with a Few Adjustments
This product is good overall, though it can be a bit tricky to applyâespecially around the abdominal area due to the curves. Sometimes it doesn’t stick properly if the blue backing hasnât been fully removed, but once thatâs off, it fits much better. What I do is add a second strip over the top edge because if I use just one layer, a little water can still get in. With the extra layer, I avoid that issue. It does its job and provides about 90% waterproof protection, which is pretty effective.

Good with a learning curve
These work perfectly to protect my PICC line so I can go out and enjoy carefully kayaking around and not east the whole summer which this crummy PICC line BUT, it is far more sticky than I thought and so if you have something to cover/protect that you do not want to pull off or out when you remove this stuff, be sure to place like a piece of paper towel or something in the center to go over the part you donât want to pull off or out leaving enough edge to stick to just your skin! Maybe I was just excited to get out on the water finally but I didnât think about that and when I went to pull off this thing it not only was taking off my entire PICC line bandage that doesnât typically come off easily at all but it was going to pull the whole damn line out. My home nurse was not happy to have to untangle that mess I made lol BUT the next time I placed paper towel square in the center of the protective adhesive and it worked like a charm!!

Very useful. Protect area from water. But does not pull hair out
Husband has feeding tube. So we used this to cover the area during shower. It works great. And it does not yank off his hair when taking it off. And the price is reasonable. Not cheap but since it does not yank his hair off, I will keep using it. Since a lot of other products stick too much that it pull off his hair everytime.

Pulls dressing off port site.
These do seal well, but due to the fact that they are adhesive, they stick to the dressing over the port and if you pull them off after a shower, they pull the dressing off. Not sterile and not safe!!

Keep pic dry in shower easily. Could have quicker delivery.

Worked amazing! Just add some plastic wrap over catheter first so the film doesnât stick to it

My Mom is 83 and on dialysis. These were needed to cover the ports used for blood flow so she could shower but she couldn’t get a sold seal and water got into the ports which is very dangerous and could lead to infection that goes directly into her heart. Be careful if this is what you are using them for
