No More White-Knuckle Grip While Shooting
Iâve spent plenty of long days with my DSLR, and after a while, constantly gripping the camera gets tiring. This strap solved that problem. It fits comfortably around my hand and wrist, so Iâm not stressing about accidentally dropping my gear, especially when Iâm moving around trying to get the right angle. The PU leather looks great and feels solidâdefinitely not flimsy. Adjusting it was simple, and it works well whether Iâm shooting handheld or switching over to my tripod. Iâve used it for everything from outdoor sessions to events where I need to be quick on my feet, and it gives me peace of mind every time.If youâre shooting for hours and want a little extra security without dealing with a neck strap, this is the way to go.

Comfortable and works great
Got this for my Canon EOS RP and it works beautifully. It was simple to install without needing to refer to instructions and took only a few minutes to adjust to my hand. My hands are on the larger side and I was able to adjust this securely but comfortably. I feel confident that the camera is attached to my hand and I find it is helpful for steadying shots as well. The strap is compact enough to also fit nicely in my very compact camera case as well. Great product!

VERY COMFORTABLE
I bought one similar to this a few years ago except that one had velcro and didn’t even last 2 weeks. This one is WAY BETTER QUALITY and it snaps around your wrist. It is adjustable. It feels really good when out & about like walking around the zoo or on a hike. I WISH there was a choice in the color of the thread as red would have gone better with my camera but outside of that I REALLY like this. It’s also nice not having a strap swinging in front of the lens when trying to get a photo. Highly recommended!!

Almost Perfect. Room for Improvement with a suggested solution
I’ve been using hand straps ever since I first started shooting in 2008. This is by far the best option I’ve owned so far and I will list the reasons in my review. However, I wouldn’t call it a perfect product for one main reason which is the mounting plate. While it is sturdy and made entirely out of metal, the screw is just extremely thick which makes connecting the tripod mount a very unpractical thing (check my photo). First, it would just extend the camera profile and make it very difficult to fit anywhere. Second, it’s almost impossible to keep both the mounting plate and tripod plate attached securely to each other without one of them getting loose when set on the tripod. The loop found on the plate (where the neck strap gets attached to) is a very nice addon and complements the other rapid neck straps they offer, but it’s also huge with a very sharp angle adding more profile to the entire camera. I think they need to work a little on the mounting plate and make a new design with a more slimmer and practical design as a tripod mount is a must. Now since I covered the room for improvement, let me list down the reasons why I believe that this is the best option I ever used.1- The materials used and the design of the strap make it truly comfortable to wear as it’s cushioned.2- Most hand straps are too small, at least for my hand, which can cause my palm to get into direct contact with unpadded fasteners during shooting which isn’t convenient, but I found that this was the only one to cover my entire palm which adds to the comfort of the strap. (check photo).3- Most hand straps have either very short fasteners or very long fasteners dangling around, but here it’s just right and you can easily hide the excess elegantly and conveniently.4- It does stay in place and very secure, if adjusted properly, it should add more stability to the shots.** Update: I found an easy way to fix the mounting plate issue, which is simply losing both threads (Tripod plate and strap mounting plate) and replacing them with a single longer screw which can also be purchased on Amazon. This will make sure the fit is tight and also the profile much thinner. The only disadvantage of this method is that you won’t be able to remove the Tripod mount easily without dismantling the the strap as well. In my case, this is just OK because I only intend to use 1 camera on the same Tripod everytime, so I won’t need to remove the Tripod mounting plate.——– Update ——–So after trying the product for a couple of month I discovered that the mount issue has to be resolved as it’s preventing me from using the very useful quick release backpack and belt mount. I’ve decided to finally cut the metal hook (check photos) as It stands between my quick release base and several mounts such as the Tripod mount and the backpack mount. I also replaced the original thread with a custom thread to minimize the profile of both strap and camera mount. Here is what you need to do.First you need to cut the metal loop part with a metal saw (I used a dremel). And don’t forget to sand it after cutting it to prevent the rough areas from scratching your camera (lose the sharp edges).Second, you will need a 14cm replacement thread to go through both mount and into the camera. Please note that cutting metal can be dangerous if you don’t have the expertise or required tools so please be careful and ask for help if you’re not familiar with such projects. You also need to keep in mind that cutting off the extra loop will prevent you from using any other neck or shoulder strap.I suggest the manufacturer to redesign the plate or atleast provide 2 alternatives plates with more thread options even if it increases the price a bit but it would definitely sell more.

Camera Hand Strap
GREAT ITEM!!! I am a photographer, this is lite weight, easy to use, 1000x better than the neck strap when doing a photo shoot. With this I don’t worry about dropping my camera.

Works great for me.
Edit: Digital Gojaâs customer service is immaculate and I donât want a 4 star product review to hurt their bottom line. therefore Iâm offsetting the 4 star product with a 5 star review.Original review (pertains to Alturaâs product ONLY):First the good:The best – and most important – part of this strap is its strength… Iâm completely confident that it will not fail when holding up even the heaviest body/lens configurations. Now, the bad (which isnât even that bad… please read):The hand strap is great overall, but I personally do not like the included base plate. At all. It has a protruding ring for attaching a cross body strap, which is fine if you need it, but it makes it difficult to lay your camera flat on a table. I ended up purchasing a flat QR plate with a strap loop built in and attaching it to that instead.Itâs very comfortable for me. I completely understand the complaints that you canât easily access the camera controls when wearing it tightly. Itâs true. But I prefer to wear mine very loose anyway (I just arch my hand to âtighten itâ when necessary), so it doesnât affect me.The wrist strap portion seems to SLIGHTLY. loosen on its own. Itâs been okay for me so far, but a little glue would permanently fix this. Weâll see if that becomes necessary, so far, the occasional adjustment has sufficed.

Newly installed
I just installed it. I havenât used it during a shoot, but I will this afternoon. It would take me a couple of minutes to install it, but it feels sturdy and hoping it will help out with the heaviness of my lens.

User Beware
The bracket that mounts the wrist strap is a nuisance. It does not remove or install quickly and fits nothing else like a tripod. Do not pick your camera up by the wrist strap. It will come undone and your camera will hit the floor. It is good for having a little more security on your wrist. I would not trust this strap to be in a high place or around water. I have been using it for a little over a month and it has came loose three times. Luckily, twice I caught it and the third time it fell on my bed.

I don’t know why I took so long to change my neck strap for a hand strap. And this one is just the greatest! It fits my hand and allows me to hang my camera without the fear that I might drop it. The strap around my neck I rarely used. So this was a great alternative to that. And it’s easy to grab and go when I have a shoot. And allows me to casually “hang” my DSLR when waiting for the next moment.UPDATE: After almost a year using this strap, I am very pleased with the product and quality. If you’ve ever stopped to consider how much you DON’T use your neckstrap to secure your camera, consider this the alternative. The neckstrap is no longer in the way.

When you are spending Rs. 4500+ for an item that is available from many producers under Rs. 500 you except 8 times more professional, more better item. This item’s look, Build quality, Sturdiness, quality is way below expectation and on top of it the supplier has sent me probably a returned item because it was in an open bag without original box and instructions. For me it is totally waste of my money. I will have to order some other brand because I am not going to put it on my Nikon Z9 worth Rs. 700,000 Camera.
