Buy this for your ZV-1 and it will transform this little camera into something even better.Before I got this lens kit I was actually considering selling my ZV-1 and buying an a7iii because the fixed lens hindered so many things for me.Itâs built with quality material, doesnât feel stressful to the cameraâs frame, the area of view is noticeably increased as well. Just watch some reviews on YouTube and they can show you in real time the difference in frame size with this thing.Both the macro lens and the wide angle lens are threaded which means you can add filters to this kit as well if you wanted to. This is another feature of the ZV-1 in its stock body that discouraged me. But with this lens kit I can use filters now and that excites me a LOT.If you use a small-rig cage, like myself, be sure to have the L shaped cage and not the full frame one that is secured around the lens because you will have to sacrifice the cage for the lens extension. The L shaped cage will allow you to use both the lens and cage together.Remember folks, all cameras are great, itâs he who uses it that entails whether your footage is good or bad!

Great Lens For The Sony ZV1
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that lenses like this are available for the Sony ZV1, and this one is absolutely perfect. The wide-angle lens enhances the field of view beautifully without distorting the image or creating a fisheye effect. The results are clear, natural, and exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend!

Not an 18mm E Mount Lensâ¦
Wish I would have seen the other review that pointed this out before I bought it. Unfortunately I took the description at face value. It is not an 18mm lens and has no mount at all, it is just a macro and wide angle lens adapter that threads into a 49mm diameter, so you have to use the bayonet and spacer if you donât have a 49mm diameter lens. Luckily I have a 35mm E mount lens that this threads into or I would be returning it. I hate inaccurate descriptions and misleading item headers.

Tested with Sony RX100 VII (M7)
If you are planning to get this lens for your Sony RX100, be prepared to do some extra tweaking. This lens is not intended for RX100 and it won’t work with it out the box, at least with VII version of the camera. The extending part of the camera’s lens is slightly wider than the internal diameter of the extension tube. The difference is just a fraction of a millimeter but it is enough to block the lens from expanding into the tube. If you have tools you may shave the metal ring of the extension tube and then it will allow the camera lens to expand.The second problem is vignetting (after cutting the ring in order to work with the camera). RX100 in photo mode or in 1080 video will have black corners with this lens. Vignetting is not an issue if you:1. Use active steady shot image stabilization as it crops the sensor enough to cut out the dark corners.2. Shoot video in 4K which is cropped by nature in Sony RX100 VIII still rate it 5 stars, since RX100 is not an intended camera for this lens.

This does not securely for the Zv1 ii. It falls off and the shaft is too sort for the camera lense to extend fully. I determined itâs not for the mark 2

Mit dem 18mm Weitwinkelobjektiv hat die Firma Neewer das ideale Produkt zum verbessern der Zv1 entwickelt. Da die ZV1 nur ein Objektiv von 24-70mm enthält und es bei 4k dann doch nochmal um einiges gecroppt wird habe ich nach einer Lösung gesucht. Durch die 18mm gewinnt man dann doch nochmal einiges an Sichtweite mit der Kamera sodass ich sehe begeistert war. Die Montage verläuft sehr angenehm enthalten sind neben dem Adapter ebenfalls die beiden Objektive Makro als auch Weitwinkel. Durch den Adapter wird die Kamera etwas schwerer allerdings finde ich es super das man dadurch etwas mehr Stabilität erhält beim Filmen mit der hand da man das Objektiv als Griff nutzen kannWichtig war ebenfalls das durch den Weitwinkel keine QualitätseinbuÃen passieren und es zu keinem fisheye kommt. All diese Sachen passieren nicht und lassen mich echt Begeistern.Jeder der nach einem Weitwinkelobjektiv für die ZV1 sucht ist hiermit bestens bedient.

The product is very good, and this is not new for Neewer. However, unfortunately, it was not compatible with my Sony RX100 camera. I was expecting an adapter to be included to ensure compatibility with other models in this Sony series. Best regards.
