Title: Lucifer and Angel 4Ever!!!
Review: Fair Trade by Millie Perez was EVERYTHING. It was PERFECTION 🤌🏼. I’m so obsessed with these characters and really the series!! Millie has once again hit it out of the park. I thought I loved Mateo Martinez when I read Strikeout but Nicholas Stonehaven is in a whole other level 😮💨. The pining, the yearning, the overall emotions he feels when it comes to Luisa is so beautiful, it hurts!Luisa Álvarez is head strong and a fierce Latina boss babe in a male-dominated field. She’s always working hard to prove she’s worthy of being the GM for the New York Monarchs baseball team. I loved that Nick supported her and gave her the space to shine. He was cheeky at times in their interactions and their banter was top tier.Nick is a self made billionaire who inherits the baseball team after his grandfather’s passing. He wants nothing to do with it at first but working alongside Luisa makes him realize how special the sport is. The way Nick yearns for Luisa is primal. When they have to get married, all bets are off! Nick takes care of his wife 🥹. SWOON.She calls him Lucifer and he calls her his angel 🥹. These two couldn’t have been more amazing for each other if they tried. Also, Millie did a beautiful job of bringing awareness to mental health and PCOS. This book was authentic to its core!!I read and listened along to the audiobook. It was PHENOMENAL!! One of my favorite audiobooks I could not recommend enough. Javi Wilder and Ramona Master did such an amazing performance of capturing Nick and Luisa perfectly!!I loved this book so much!! I’m feral for Coach and Daisy’s story next!!!

Review: First they had lust, then disdain, marriage, and finally love. She gave him that something that he missing in his life a family. He gave her confidence herself and the position she in the team.

Title: Bad AF woman
Review: Narrated by:Javi Wilder as NickRamona Master as LuisaThe narrators did such a great job bring these characters to life. What to expect:💍 Marriage of convenience💚 Billionaire💍 Enemies to lovers💚 Workplace romance (team owner x gm)💍 Baseball romance💚 PCOS representation💍 Latinx representation💚 Banter💍 My wife💚 Found familyTheir banter was so good. There is nothing that Nick wouldn’t do for Luisa. It just took her a while to figure that out. These lines had me giggling:So sue me for throwing on a pair of gray sweatpants and hoping that all those magazine articles that Luisa graces the covers of were right about the mighty powers of this comfortable garment.AndI’m lactose intolerant. As Luisa predicted, I usually take my coffee black. But I’ll deal with the repercussions, because from now on, I’ll take my coffee with a dash of milk. Just how my wife makes it.I cannot wait for the next book.

Title: Good read
Review: Fair Trade is book two in the series and was a good read. Luisa Alvarezand Nick Stonehaven hook up one night with no names. Then when she heads to work, she finds out he is the new owner of the New York Monarchs and her boss as she is the first woman General manager! Nick inherited the team from his deceased grandfather but there is a clause, which is how he finds himself married to Luisa!I loved their banter and chemistry. They were pretty cute and perfect for each other! Can’t wait for Daisy’s book!

Title: Book review
Review: I absolutely DEVOURED this book!I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this story was. First, I have to give a huge shoutout to Millie! You can feel how much heart and soul she poured into these characters and this storyline. Her dedication, passion, and attention to detail shine through every page. The way she pulls you into her world and makes you fall in love with her characters is truly a work of art.Let’s talk about Nick… I adored everything about him! But not just Nick — Luisa too! She was such a powerhouse. Every word she spoke captivated me. And can we take a moment to appreciate the PCOS representation?! This was my first time reading a story with a Latina character who has PCOS, and I truly felt seen.Luisa’s strength, her independence, and the way she showed that a woman can be empowering with or without a man, it was beautiful. And then seeing a man like Nick love, support, and celebrate her for all that she is? Perfection. The representation of the Hispanic culture was also so special! The warmth, the sense of family, the way we embrace others as our own. When Luisa’s dad called Nick “mijo,” I actually teared up. Because if you know, you know! 🥹💗Nick is definitely my #1 book boyfriend this year, and Luisa is right up there as one of my favorite heroines. I truly can’t wait for what’s next from Millie!

Review: Millie writes SUCH GOOD CHARACTERS. I read Strikeout and got unexpectedly obsessed and had a countdown to download Fair Trade, which lived up to my expectations. Its just fun but with underlying difficult themes. Its fake marriage but no one is faking and I think the two very strong minded main characters were written so well.I also have to add that i dont like spice but I still read these books, thinking I would just skip the smut (didnt skip it FYIIIII AAAH) but it goes to show that when you’ve got an angsty, yearning, loser in love type MMC, then the spice is only natural!Loved loved loved, cannot wait for Daisy’s book (2026 is toooo far away 😭)

Review: This book is everything. It has marriage of convenience, baseball, forced proximity, and so much angst and yearning. It’s emotional, steamy, addicting, and more. Do yourself a favor and read it immediately.
Nicholas Stonehaven is the devil.
The man was supposed to remain a stranger. A fond memory of a night I’ll never forget. Instead, I’m mortified to learn that my dirty little secret is now the new owner of the New York Monarchs, making him my boss. I tell myself I can handle this new development. I didn’t become the first female general manager in Major League Baseball without knowing how to handle a curveball. I make trades and close deals better than any other GM in the league. But when the arrogant billionaire offers me a contract I can’t refuse, it seems like I’ve earned myself another fancy, although temporary title: wife.
Luisa Álvarez is heaven-sent.
When she’s not calling me Lucifer, that is. I can be a lot to handle. Hell, I use that to my advantage in the boardroom. But my experience as the CEO of a media enterprise did me no good when I inherited a professional baseball team from my estranged grandfather. I would have sold it off immediately, but even from six feet under, the old man held something over my head, and I couldn’t let it slip through my fingers. That’s how I found myself married to my Angel. She may be hung up on the fact that we made a deal and signed on the dotted line. But there is nothing fake about the way I feel for her or how she comes alive under my touch. We agreed to a fair trade, but now it’s time to renegotiate. Because when it comes to my wife, I never vowed to play fair.
