Title: Great little drawing tablet. (plus some tips for anyone as clueless as I was)
Review: I am very used to working on Wacom machines; I’ve owned their tablets and massive Cintiqs alike for personal and professional work. I had spent years assuming Wacom was the way to go, but this product has seriously shaken my views. It connects to my laptop (which is quite old, from 2016/2017) perfectly through a single USB-C wire, no power wire required unless I see fit for resource allocation.And the screen.. is fantastic. Granted I got the 4K version; the common opinion is that you don’t need that kind of definition on a smaller screen (and I acknowledge that the larger Kamvas would have given me more per buck), but I already have such limited desk space. Let me tell you, it is astounding to see the difference between my Huion screen and my large Cintiq screen, the crispness and vibrancy feels like night and day. My eyeballs are going to get spoiled. Pen action feels good, no lag, and the tip of the pen feels true to exactly where I point (accuracy). This is something about Wacom products that frustrates me.Some problems I encountered, and the solutions that worked (for my cases only):::-The Huion screen said “No Signal/Power Saving Mode” with a red light. I heard it connect to my laptop, only to immediately disconnect itself. I also noticed that my computer was registering it as a keyboard, for some reason; not as a second monitor. I agonized over this for hours and nearly returned the product because of it. Here’s what I did:1) Uninstall Wacom drivers2) Complete shut-down (not restart)3) Install the Huion driver while the tablet is NOT connected4) Complete shut-down (not restart) again5) Go into Devices, right click my graphics card and update it.At that point, the Huion FINALLY blinked on. I restarted the computer again just in case, and it’s been working after that with no issues.-The Huion screen appeared blurry. A 4K screen, blurry? This was startling, but the explanation/solution was a super simple one:1) Go to Windows’ Display settings and make sure the 2nd monitor is set to “Extend Display,” not Mirror or whatever. This is really handy for anybody that needs to pull up lots of reference images/emails while drawing. Or just to have youtube open Lol.2) Open Huion settings3) Make sure the Display AND the Pen are mapped to that 2nd screen. The moment I did this, the Huion display became as sharp as a knife. Fantastic.Alright, now… the cons.-The stand is completely useless after a certain angle. The bottom ledge the monitor is supposed to rest on is not nearly deep enough. What happens is the Huion will simply slide off. Huion, if you sell a separate stand that’s sturdier and heavy duty, I’ll grab one.-Setup was not as straightforward as Wacom, the “No Signal” thing threw me for a loop.-I love the fun donut pen holder, but it does take up precious desk space.I’ll update later after I’ve spent some time working on this. But in the meantime, I’m very happy. Much happier than with my smaller Cintiq.

Review: I purchased this a little over month ago & Wow! It has taken some time but after buying a Cintiq & then 2 Huions, Huion has finally have got their pen displays down to a fine art. The pens with the various nibs, the screen, the resolution, color reproduction, the interface ports, all are on an equal level to Wacom. The only difference is with the Wacom still carries an aura about it but, I think that’s because of the price….I can’t say anything to the touch feature, it’s turned off on my display, I can’t use touchpads or anything like the such. I’m way too hyperactive & constantly am tapping my fingers.Additionally, I use the Xoot arm mount, which works awesome with the Huion. The bezel is around the edges is about right for everything, I sorta miss the side buttons and am slowly learning to use the 10 key for short cuts. That’s more difficult to remember which button is for which vs. the side buttons which were easier when there were large centered side button & then 3 buttons on the upper side & 3 on the lower. It was just easier to remember my shortcuts with those buttons vs. the 10key.Other than above, it’s fitting real nice in my workflow, which is mural designs, traditional cartoon strips, & CAD/CAM work. I can bounce back & forth between cad work & drawing easily, the shortcuts change instantly without a problem. As always, should I have any issues, I’ll update here.

Title: Impressive
Review: As a professional Digital Artist, I have worked in the Animation industry for 20+ years with Wacom tablets. They were expensive but durable and efficient, it was the only viable option for most of us. I was not a fan of Cintiq, too big, not color accurate… a hell for cable management… I had fun drawing on ipad pro but could not imagine working only on it on a daily basis… This is the One! The missing link… It’s light, polyvalent… Sharp display, vibrant and color accurate screen. The pen is very good. Several connections using USB C. I can use it with a laptop with only one USB C to USB C Cable. For my desktop I am using the 3in1 USB C Cable that is too short but I found ways to get around the problem. A small USB C extension cable (with a right angle connector) will be a good investment… I highly recommend this pen display. The size is almost perfect for me. 22 or 24 inches would be too big, 18 or 19 inches could be the sweet spot for me.

Title: A good buy
Review: So far it is great. Was surprised that I could just plug it in to my surface & it worked. No fussing around. Everybody always says their products are compatible, but they usually aren’t. This really was plug & go!! Will take a while to get used to having so much space to work on, but that is point! So far I am very happy with this purchase.

Review: Initially I wanted to buy an iPad Pro 12.9 and I’m glad I didn’t. I only draw at home and portability is not an issue. This is my first pen display so I cannot compare it with others. Beautiful colours and because it’s 4k theres no pixelation. Everything looks so crisp, its like drawing on paper. I only use Clip studio paint and Photo shop and I didn’t experience any lag or parallax. Nothing negative to say. I’m only used to traditional drawing and it takes a while to get adjusted to digital as you can tell from the pic. I’m 100% satisfied with the purchase.

Review: To tell you about my background and experience I have used Wacom products for more than 15 years and full time digital artist. Beginning from the Intuos pen tablet to my last device Cintiq 27. So here is my honest review about this device.After using 27 inches monitor I was not very sure about 16 inches. But since this is 4K resolution I still wanted to try it out. And now I am feeling much better than my previous 27 inches device. I have checked many reviews before buying this device. What most of the people tell you is bigger screen is the better. But for me this monitor size did good justice to beat all my previous experience. As the resolution is much higher than any of the bigger monitor and for that reason it gives really crisp clear images. And the brush parallax is zero. So it gives the traditional painting feel when you use it. Another thing is the pen pressure. The 8192 pen pressure is damn good. It is so sensitive your whole pen handling experience will be much better. Let’s talk about the colour, this is definitely the best colour display I have seen in my entire life. I had to adjust the colour calibration to match it with my iMac because apple couldn’t match the colours as much as this device. Now my workspace is much more tidier and more spacious yet my drawing experience is much better.Now coming to the driver part. Huion has improved their drivers very well. it is very convenient and it detects the monitor immediately and even the settings are very easy to handle. The monitor has on-screen adjustments which can be controlled with the pen. Along with this I also bought KD 100 device seperately as there are no on-screen keys, but most of the people don’t use express keys. Whereas I use keyboard along with the express keys so KD 100 is a perfect match along with this monitor.After I purchased this monitor the main distributor of Huion contacted me to congratulate. And he also assured me he would support in case I face any problem with this device which was an additional assurance. This simple gesture gained more of my trust towards this brand.Now coming to the packaging part you can say that the quality can be matched with Apple. I was very much impressed with the product quality as well. it is very sturdy and has very premium feel to it.Amazon delivered it much before the promised date so I am happy with that as well. when I couldn’t see my order updates online I contacted the customer care and they gave me clear details about where my product has reached which was very impressive.I have not come across any cons so far so I would give this product five star rating hundred out of hundred.

Review: Huion had an amazing opportunity to make a true flagship product. On paper it did seem so, it promised a lot. I really wanted to love it and was honestly excited to test it. I was disappointed how short it fell… Cables were not connecting snuggly, felt flimsy, something you’d expect from a 2-3 year daily use. Re Colors and Contrast… maybe i got a defective model, I honestly don’t know, but 145 sRGB it was not. I color calibrated with xrite and the color just wasn’t feeling right, contrast was poor too – I could see the grey 3D grid of the software i use virtually disappear as i dragged the viewport window from my LG monitor to Huion. If it’s quality assurance error, I hope Huion steps it up. on the positive side – the screen looks incredibly sharp, impressive impeccable pixel per inch ratio – 100% beats the latest Wacom 16 (2021) 4k in terms of PPI. Wacom’s screen on that tablet looks unacceptably blurry for a 4K display, that’s one thing Huion got super right, I wish they calibrated color and contrast better.

Review: UPDATE: After a few months of light use, this tablet died completely. Wouldn’t turn on no matter how it was plugged in. Even tried it on different computers- it just went dead without any warning, didn’t drop it or anything. That’s 60K INR down the drain, and Huion is never seeing a penny of my money again.I originally gave this 4 stars because having tried the Cintiq Pro as well as the iPad Pro, this compared pretty well. But issues began to crop up within months. Firstly, you should be aware that the tip of the Huion pen is very bulbous- if you’re looking down and drawing, you can’t see the nib, which really affects accuracy. Now that I know more about the tablet, I wonder if this was intentional design to disguise the cursor offset that’s so common with Wacom alternatives. It’s not just at the edges of the screen- unless you’re prepared to recalibrate every time you shift positions, you’ll have cursor offset.And then there’s the drivers. The drivers are just plain terrible. I install the new ones every time I want to work on this tablet, and even then it’s hit or miss. Sometimes you have to delete it completely and set up like the first time.Also, the screen began to physically pop out after a couple months. Don’t think it affects functionality but it feels really cheap.On paper this seems like a much better deal than Wacom tablets, but they’re really not. Even the basic non Pro Cintiq will take you farther than this one. If you want something reliable go for a Cintiq and if you can’t afford it, get used to an Intuos tablet or get an iPad. This brand isn’t worth the risk.
