Although the keyboard flexes a bit much while typing, so you can’t type too fast.Cons:SMALL BATTERY – only lasts 2-3 hours before its dead and takes 1.5-2 hours to charge back up. Be prepared to keep it plugged it.SHORT CHARGER PLUG – The charger plus is less than 3 feet for a total of under 6ft total. (I already ordered a 10 foot longer plug for the charger due to this issue.)DIM SCREEN – Even at full brightness this unit will not work in any bright rooms and forget about outside at all.LOUD FAN!!!! – They designed this unit with a loud fan and the exhaust port is aimed AT THE SCREEN!!! Seriously, who thought this was a good idea?? It makes the sound be reflected directly at you, so your laptop sounds like a turbo jet with a bad engine. Why would you direct heat onto the LCD screen, this will lead to early failure with a blow dryer pointed right at it.SLOW RAM SPEED – They installed DDR$ 3200 speed 8GB ram, but it runs at 2667 instead. The CPU fully supports the faster speed per Intel, so why is DELL slowing it down?? First thing I did was order a 8GB RAM to enable Dual Channel RAM, since the single DIMM was slowed down. I have a Dell Laptop from 2013 with only 12GB DDR3 RAM that performs better than this unit.RUNS HOT!!! – The unit runs HOT, with all that hot air going right onto the screen.CHEAP plastic case – The case is a VERY THIN plastic that you need to be careful and feels like it will break when you pick it up. It flexes WAY TOO MUCH for comfort, get a good case to travel with it or it will break. The case also is a fingerprint magnet and shows skin oils way too much as well.Half sized SD Card port – They have so much room in the case for a FULL SIzed SD card port, instead they installed a half sized port making the card stick way out. Forget about leaving a card installed for extra storage.NOT SATA DRIVE – They didn’t install the SATA bracket or the SATA cable. No way to expand internal storage, even thought the MoBo has a SATA port. Why put a port that can NEVER BE USED. Wasted space in the case where the sata drive could be, its empty.SLOW USB Ports – Only has 5Gbps USB ports, and only 2 of them. The third port is USB 2, and super slow. They should have included 10Gbps, since that is what USB 3.2 is rated for, and that is what they label this laptop as supporting. The Processor supports USB 4 so no reason they shouldn’t have put them on here.Windows 11 – MS Ai is CRAP, it slows Windows down so much. Now I know why they are calling MS “MicroSlop” now. It is nothing but pop up and ads to buy software and stuff. Trying to setup the laptop is HORRIBLE. You have to connect to the internet, login with a MS account just to use the laptop. But wait, before you can do that, you HAVE to run updates before even seeing the desktop. It took over 2 hours to run the updates that kept the laptop from being used at all. If you are starting it up the first time, plan on having at least 2-3 hours just to get to the desktop. This is a BAD idea and horrible design by MS. Make sure you plug it in and keep it plugged in until it is done with all updates and you are finally at the desktop. No way to see battery life during the initial setup.
