These work great with my iPhone. I’ve ordered them several times. I use one with the headphones by my bed, one with the headphones I use traveling and the ones I have at work. I’ve also given some to family members.

Kinda befuddled/DO NOT BY: TRASH PRODUCT
I bought these as backups if and when I loose my main adapter. I hadnât taken them out of the packaging until yesterday after loosing my main one. The cable is noticeably thicker than an Apple Original adapter, which clued me in that these are probably not apple certified. One of them had glue on the outside of the adapter. After taking the other adapter in the pack, I brought it with me to work. I noticed right away that there is considerable white noise if you arenât playing anything. It got so bad that I had to replug it to get the noise to go away. Things were going alright right up to when I went to play my music and the music came out my phones speakers for a split second before returning to my headphones. Mind you, I had not unplugged them. I discovered shortly after that my iPhone doesnât recognize the adapter and thinks itâs playing through speakers, which may have led to the problem. I do not believe apple certified this product since apple products donât recognize it. Donât waste your time or money on this, just pay the $10 for an apple adapter.Edit: DO NOT BUY!Both adapters are now broken. A little while after posting this review, the adapter I was using broke. I could no longer hear out of my right earbud while using it. This was after only a SINGLE DAY of use. I took the other one out of the packaging; I had chosen not to use them because there was glue on the outside that has since worn off. The second adapter just failed exactly the same way as the first. I thought I was getting a decent deal getting 2 adapters for the price of one, but all I have now are 2 busted adapters. I have changed my review from 2 stars to 1 star to reflect my dissatisfaction with this product. If I could set the review to 0 stars I would. DO NOT BY, THIS CHEAP TRASH WILL BREAK AFTER A SHORT WHILE OF USE.

Useless for TRRS jack headphones (Tip Ring Ring Sleeve)
Yeah, these are basically crap. If you are trying to use any kind of headphones with a TRRS jack (basically any headphones with a built-in microphone and/or pause/play button on the cord), this dongle is going to give you fits. I tried three different sets of headphones on them and every single one fits awkwardly in the dongle (one doesn’t fit all the way in and the other two are loose fits), and because of this there is extreme crackling and popping of the sound on my nicer set, and outright random button mashing-like effects on my cheap pairs. It’ll just suddenly pause the music, skip back or ahead a track, and otherwise wreck havoc to the point that you just can’t listen to the music.I can’t say that these are any better with headphones that only have a TRS jack as I don’t have a pair like that, so maybe those will work. I don’t know. Then again, I’m not sure it’ll matter either. These things also feel cheap, like they’re ready to break the first time I try to put my phone in my pocket.So yeah, avoid these if you can. I hate to say splurge for an official Apple dongle at this point because it appears they no longer make them, and second market prices are slowly going up. For me, I think this means it’s time to upgrade to a newer model phone or find some bluetooth headphones with decent battery life, much as I hate the idea.

One didnât work out of the box, but my aux cord can be finicky. The other one worked just fine so Iâm guessing it was a defect in the dongle.The one that works works great. Fits perfect, connection is good, I purchased a couple tests ago and it still works, so seems pretty durable.Only con is one didnât work.

Couldn’t be more simple. Just plug and play. Love the fact it is a nice short adapter. Nice tight connectors so no need to add some sort of a “strain relief”. Very nice and would recommend.

It is not MFi certified because I canât hear or speak to anyone when on a callAnd there is a really annoying static noise when I plugged my headphones in via this adapter (itâs not the headphones as I checked them on another device)Donât waste your money on these adapters
