It does feel very cheap, light and plastic. Wish it was heavier.But the sound quality is good for the price.Directions are difficult , and the controls are very small .But for 20 bucks , it’s not bad .

Great little recorder – for the short time it worked
I needed a recorder for my job, and this has really done the trick. So far, the recording quality has been very good, and it’s been easy to use. It’s small and lightweight and very easy to slide into my pocket or purse when I need to take it with me somewhere. I did panic a little one time when I was turning it off and the button fell off, but I was able to slide it right back on and it works just as well as it always did (and now I’m more careful about using that switch so it doesn’t happen again).UPDATE: I ordered the recorder in January. It’s now June. I plugged it into charge for an interview least week, and when I pulled it off the charger the next morning, it wouldn’t turn on. It still works if plugged directly in, but the battery won’t hold a charge at all and won’t turn on if it’s not plugged into a power source.

Bought in september, was junk by Febuary
I bought this to use during my zoom classes. I wanted to be able to record audio and go back to it later. Well it worked well for a couple weeks and the semester ended in dec.I grew increasingly frustrated with the slow seek time and clumsy buttons. If i record a two hour lecture and want to fast forward 15 minutes in, it takes about 8-10 minutes to get there. The seek and fast forward are the same button and if your finger gets tired after holding it down for 15 minutes fast forwarding you’re probably going to skip to the next recording and have to start all over again.I took it back out last week to use again and it recorded twice and the third time while trying to delete files from last semester it would not respond. The delete feature would not work following directions. I scrolled to the old lecture, I pressed del a/b and nothing happens. I held the play button for 5 seconds and it rebooted and now tells me there is just as much used space as before but no files. I lost all my lectures and wasted money on junk. Don’t use this f you need reliability. Even the instruction book is not accurate for the device. I think its old instructions with new firmware, but the firmware date on my unit was 2016. Save yourself from throwing your money away on a dissapointment, spend a little more on a lot better product

I bought this for my 6 yr. old daughter who is an aspiring rap artistððâ¤she literally opened but up & was able to operate it w/no instruction. That is how totally easy this lil’ mighty recorder is to use!Its actually…REALLY AWESOME!!!Not to mention the “sound quality”, which I have to admit, I thought was going to be sort of sketchy, but just the opposite…it has GREAT SOUND QUALITY!!! And it also picks up on sounds very easily as well- its not like you have to speak loud or scream in order for it to detect soundðShe has been playing w/it every day since she got it, the battery life is totally amazing,as long as you remember to turn it back to its “OFF” position…lol!!!In closing….if your on the fence, think no more-PURCHASE IT!!! I gave this five stars as it works just as i need it to, voice recorder. Very easy to use. playback is decent. i dont think that it would be ideal for music and i wont be using it for such. Small and lightweight.

Does what it’s suppose to do
Unit is easy to use, feels of decent quality. Didn’t put it through it’s paces, but did a brief statement to see how well it picks up and plays. Sensitive, and plays loud and crisp. Having a 32 gig on board card means no use for addictional cards which this unit doesn’t provide, but really doesn’t need it as you can download mp3s directly from the PC, and use headphones to listen which by the way sounds like any expensive sound equipment through the phones.I have four different units, and this being the cheapest, I was amazed as to how it performs. Small, slick, and easy.

This audio recorder is good at recording musical instruments and nature, which were the main things I wanted to record. Recordings of mandolin and harmonica came out crisp and very accurate, and piano recording was also great, just slightly less than the other instruments and slightly smothered, which is probably to do with my positioning of the recorder and the echo of the piano. The recorder picks up tiny and subtle sound effects as well as sounds in the near distance, which is good for recording nature. The nature recording is fairly accurate and has good audio depth (giving the feeling of some things being closer and others further away). Voice recording was accurate too, but perhaps less crisp than music recording.The MP3 player function is nice, especially when plugged into another speaker or headphones, but the built in speaker is quite good on its own. However, I don’t know how to make the MP3 player stop playing on its own; it repeats when it gets to the end of the files. I can’t remember if it always did this or if there was something I selected by accident.The folder system when plugged into the computer doesn’t seem to have much capacity for organising things; there is one folder for recordings, and files that I want to put on it to listen to, I had to put directly into the first layer of ‘USB-DISK’ next to the ‘RECORD’ folder, not in a folder of their own, in order for the device to recognise them.The system and buttons are generally easy to use. The on/off switch (bottom right side, visible in the images on Amazon) was loose and fell off and might come off again but I have reattached it for now and I was still able to turn the device on and off when the switch was missing using small pointy things.I like that the audio recorder is small and has a nice design, and I like that it says “welcome” when I turn it on.
