Perfect addition to my video equipment.
This is great! Really lights up the areas needed without making it too bright.

Perfect size for small desk setup key light
Great softbox to match the 12â square LED panel key light.

Fantastic so long as one installs it correctly
If one watches the Neewer video on adding the softbox it says that it is recommended that the barn doors are removed prior to adding the softbox. I can confirm that, at least on the 660, in order to get the rear flaps to properly wrap around the light for a secure and leak free seal that not only must one remove the barn doors, but also the secondary mount screws that go between the barn doors and the light. I just attached bot set of barn door screws to the barn doors for storage, and keep them in the the lights case, in the original box. Once all screws are removed the softbox fits like a glove. The assembly isn’t hard if one has removed the barn doors, but I do feel that the addition of the softbox and grid reduce the overall portability and assembly time of the unit a little bit. It is still very portable, quick to assemble, and far, far more effective than many reviewers who have not assembled it correctly would have one believe. The only down side is if one wants to constantly switch between the gridded softbox and barn doors, but I personally think the grid is more desirable for my needs most of the time. The grid, while not the most precision machined grid I’ve used is elasticized around the edge and slips on over the softbox quite nicely. I am not sure the exact beam angle of the grid, but the grid depth is about 1″ and despite a few slightly curved bits at the edges works very, very well, and is decently ridged. The grid has a very noticeable impact on the softbox beam angle, and really tightens up the lights focus while keeping it a significantly softer than the light with out the softbox. Overall I think this is probably the best bang for ones buck panel light with softbox and grid combination I’ve found, and highly recommend it.

2 soft boxes, but different quality.
I bought two softboxes, one is good quality, the other is terrible, someone in the neewer purchasing department must have bought cheap reflector material, look at the photo. It’s almost see-through.—-update — 1 replacement box is good now

Easy to assemble. Drastically reduces the hardness
Great fit, follow the instructions and youâll easily put it together. Build is good. You CAN angle it, just readjust how itâs connected to the tripod with the metal sticking out rather than up.

Pricey, but really improves the lighting for my Neewer 660 lights
Costly for what it is, but the engineering is spot on.It does exactly what it is meant to, diffusing the harsh light from the Neewer lights, and creating a really great lighting for professional streaming.Worth the cost.I am a big fan of Neewer products these days. They are generally affordable and tech forward-thinking. Sturdy too.

Tricky to install, but happy overall
For $80 for 2 (oddly enough: a two pack was $85, but individually they were $40 a piece, so just order two and save $5), I’d hoped there would be a little more intuitive design. But alas, not really. From a functional standpoint, they’re oddly designed and I couldn’t imagine transporting these around in the carrying case. THAT BEING SAID they work extremely well as a softboxes. I’ve noticed a significant reduction of glare/shine compared to my previous diffusers, which allows me to play with different lighting and skin tones. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase, considering that I won’t have to transport them around.

Work As Expected!
I brought a Neewer light box to do portraits with but I found that for the necessary brightness I needed it either hurt my eyes or made everything look very shiny. This soft box definitely helped to soften the harshness while still providing full brightness. Itâs easy to take on and off of a light box, keeps itâs shape and very light weight. One of my concerns was it was going to make my light box top heavy with the stand I currently have however that was not the case. Some soft boxes Iâve seen are huge so Iâm grateful itâs proportionate in size. It doesnât winkle or crease easily either as I imagined so it easy to pack up when traveling and you donât have to worry about it becoming ruined. Overall very pleased with my purchase!

The product is good enough for the price.Easy to use if you have half of a brain…You can tilt it up or down, you just need to build your support in the right way.Don’t lose much stops of light from the power source if you use it in a controlled environment gets the job done.Better way to take it, don’t fold it it’s made for getting flat only, other wise it will not last much.

Este producto va bien con las neewer 660. Necesitas desmontar las aspas, si tienes alguna duda existen totorales en YouTube donde se indica cómo colocar correctamente.
