They’re very comfortable, feel light, dry quick, and are not restrictive around the thighs which is great during leg workouts. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the pocket zipper. While the zipper itself is fine and the pocket size is great, the little cloth flap that acts to cover the zipper tends to get caught in it. So far I’ve been able to just move it around and get it unstuck, but I could see that potentially being an issue later on. This was not a deal breaker for me since I initially got 3 colors and identified this issue but still ordered more because I liked the shorts that much. Review: So, I recently started attending Pilates classes with my wife… yeah, go ahead and chuckle… it was new for me too! Honestly, one of my main concerns was wearing something comfortable but still clearly masculine—because, let’s face it, some athletic shorts feel like they belong in ballet class rather than the gym. Thankfully, these NORTHYARD shorts really nailed it.Straight out of the package, they felt super lightweight but surprisingly durable. The quick-dry fabric works exactly as promised. Even after a full session of stretching and bending in ways I didn’t think possible (ouch, by the way), I stayed cool, dry, and comfortable. They’re flexible enough for Pilates but tough enough for basketball or hiking, if that’s your thing.After wearing them once, I immediately went back online to snag another pair. They are great for lounging around, gym workouts, or wearing to a theme park where casual comfortable clothes are a must. I personally am pleased with the purchase. I got the 9 inch version for my first pair but, I may choose the 7 inch next time and compare. I am 5’8″ with a 30-32″ inseam. Reviewer: Amazon Customer Rating: 3.0 out of 5 stars Title: Nice shorts with a horrible drawstring! Review: I would give these 5 stars if it wasn’t for the drawstring which is literally 5 feet long! With almost 30″ of extra drawstring they are constantly being pulled out of the lining in the washer when they get twisted in other clothes. Each string also hangs out of the shorts by a foot when you are walking around the gym unless you get creative when you tie them.
