Review: The bags are more substantial than Ziploc bags and at first my arthritic fingers had trouble closing them sufficiently. BUT THEN I discovered a tiny little tool in the box next to the charging cord. It’s a little clip that you attach to one side of the zip and pinch lightly as you run it along the top. Voila ! Sealed tight easily. A good seal is necessary for the device to suck out all of the air. Just gently place the device on the round air valve and press the button. It will do its magic in seconds and shut itself off.This gadget was a happy find as I don’t have space for a countertop machine. The bags are reusable and easy to rinse out and air dry. It’s great for produce that stays fresh and crisp much longer. I reopen a sealed package, take out what I need and reseal. Love it Review: I was wanting to vacuum seal my food, but with the traditional sealers, it seemed like there was a lot of waste of plastic. I’m a recycler so I hate throwing plastic in the trash. While this product uses plastic, at least they are reusable bags that you can reuse as well! I have probably gone through 12 bags so far. None of them have had a problem sealing, none of them leak, and they increase the space in my freezer. I think this is a great deal and a great product. Just close the zip lock and then align the sealer on the little button on the bag and watch it seal in seconds.
