Perfect fit for R50, best price
This is a perfect fit on my Canon R50, and 4 come at nearly the same price as an OEM canon cap. This slides in just as smooth as OEM. Would highly recommend, and happy to have spares on hand!

They perfectly fit a Canon EOS R50
These will fit your EOS R50 shoe perfectly. So now, losing one will not be such a big deal.

Good protection for the Canon RP
If you live in rural areas and dusty places, then you need to protect your expensive camera, and this is my new Canon EOS RP. This is a Wonderful invention to prevent any contaminants entering the flash port of the Canon RP. So far, so good.

Correct covers for Canon, but 2 out of 4 are bit loose in the hot shoe
These have the correct, unique configuration to fit in Canon hot shoes and still permit the on-camera flash to pop up. (This is important if you use the on-camera pop-up flash to trigger your external flashes or use it for occasional fill light… and do not want to have to remove — and keep track of — the tiny hot shoe cover.) These are not as perfect a fit as the Richard Franiec hot shoe covers I got 10 years ago for each of my Canons. (He machined each from a block of plastic. They were expensive, about $10 each, as I recall.) But these will do the job in my 7D-II, 7D, and 50D. Of the four covers I received, two snap into place okay, but the other two do not. They are loose enough they could get knocked out easily. See the photo with arrows pointing to the numbers. I noticed the two that snap in have number “2” and the two that don’t a number “1”. I assume those numbers relate to the injection-mold cavity they were made in. I’ll see if I can exchange the two loose number 1s for two that snap in and stay put. If I can’t, I’ll modify them so they will stay in place. (I just tested applying a piece of Gorilla duct tape across the entire back half of the underside, and that additional thickness seems to provide enough friction to keep the piece in place. I’ll try to include a photo in the next day or two.) If you’ve got a Canon with a hot shoe, these are the ones to get as they don’t press the tiny button that tells your camera you’ve got something in the hot shoe. (Which you do, but you’d like the camera to ignore these and pretend you don’t.) I knocked off a star because I’ve gotta modify two out of four of them to get them to work right. Overall, I’d say: good product at a good price.

Hot Shoe Covers
Very nice but wish they fitted just a tad snugger.

I lost the original cap for my hot shoe mount on my X-T3 a while ago and Iâve been using it with out the cap for years. Now that I use my flash a lot more I have realised it is probably a good idea to keep the hot shoe mount protected when itâs not in use. Also nice to have some spares because no doubt Iâll lose it again.

Great product fits well

I’m happy I bought these. I have four Sony cameras in a recording studio and I never use the hot shoes on any of them, and I did not like the open hot shoe port. These are little pieces of plastic not worth more than Rs 10 each, but since they are one-of-a-kind, very rare, and certainly not available in any store, I paid the going price and I’m happy with the result. Perfect fit for the default hot shoe on Sony cameras.
