I bought this specifically for the ND filter, but have found myself also using the circular polarizer and star filter quite a bit.I considered giving this 4 stars, but honestly, it does what it claims to do, and the ND filter does a great job allowing me to keep my iPhone shutter speed at 1/48 when shooting at 24fps. Is it the best iPhone filter kit you can buy? Nope, but for less than $30 bucks, its a solid purchase if you are experimenting with iphone videography, and want to do it right.My biggest complaint now would be the case the filters come in, while awesome and super sturdy, is pretty bulky. I usually remove the filters I want, and carry them in a small bag that I can place in my pocket.

I purchased this to help with recording indoor volleyball games. As there is limited space, I wanted a wide angle lens to get more of the court and players. While it does bend light enough to see more of the court, the outer edges are out of focus and blurry. The curved field of view is to be expected but it’s hard to make out just what is at the outer areas. I’ve had marginally better results when taking off my phone case. I find it ironic the marketing images (at time of writing) show a “cheap lens” vs “our lens”. My experience with this is the “cheap lens”.The macro lens is pretty cool. I’ve taken a few test shots of finger tips and orange peels. The detail is great and I can take shots I couldn’t take before. This is not my interest however so I rarely use this aspect.The lens itself feels solid. The clip is made of plastic. There are covers for when the macro and wide angle lens are connected, but if you separate them, only 1 side of each lens has a cover and the other is not a universal fit. A pouch is provided to carry the lens and clip with just enough room to fit both.I should mention this is on an iPhone 13 (not pro). I’ve seen what a newer iPhone 16 pro can do out of the box for wide angle shots. I feel this may be the way to go for me.

Better photos without this lens
This does not work. Unfortunately I missed the window to return it. I bought it for a trip and just took it out to test it andâ¦no good. I get better moon pics with just my phone. Donât waste your money.

Good Value as Filters Can Also Be Used on Reg Cameras!
For the price, this kit is an awesome value. Not only can the filters be used with your phone but theyâre standard 52mm threaded filters that can also be used on your 52mm camera lens. No, they are not B & W or PolarPro quality filters but for $26, theyâre decent for camera use as well. Will most likely get the most use from the CPL but can also experiment with stacking. Another big advantage this kit has over others is the filter completely covers your phone cameras, whether dual or triple. Thereâs no fiddling around trying to get the clip exactly perfect so it doesnât cover part of the phone cameras. One recommendation; do NOT use the white microfiber lens cloth. I did and spent 20 minutes cleaning little white flecks of fabric from the filter. Not good. And lastly, my kit didnât come w any card asking for a 5 star rating but I also noticed the kit I was sent was APEXEL brand. (Same EXACT kit as this MIAO brand)

Good for the price!
Since I use my phone more to take photos than my camera, I decided to give this a try and get some artsy photos straight out of the phone without editing. I like how you get a lot of filters for the price point.Couple of things I’m not too happy about, first is the adapter ring to hold the filters, it’s kind of hard to align it when screwing it in. Second is the ND filter, it has a magenta tone to it. Not terrible if you adjust the white balance in lightroom. Decided to buy another ND filter with more stops and see if it makes a difference.Overall, it’s worth it. You can always buy more filters since it already has the lens holder.

Hard to fit on iPhone 14
The lens was hard to get positioned âjust soâ on the phone so that it wasnât in the way. Build quality seemed great, but not very functional for this phone since it showed up in the picture. Returned to try a different lens.

I have purchased other products from Apexel. I like the fact that the budget is good as not all the lens or filters are great, however they more than do the job and as i am still learning how to manoeuvre with my phone on videos and photos its the perfect fits for me. No one likes to waste money so this is just a great way to learn and if i need to upgrade later then i can have options. In the mean time great product for my use.
