Just what I needed to clean the (apparently dirty) lightning ports in our iPhones and iPad.
Just what I needed to clean the (apparently dirty) lightning ports in our iPhones and iPad. My wife and I have been complaining for quite a while about how poorly our devices were charging. Our lightning port Charging connections were very temperamental, device would charge for a few minutes, then just stop. I would wake up in the morning expecting a fully charged phone, only to find the battery totally discharged. I did some research, and the consensus was I needed to clean the charging ports. Surely it can’t be that easy? But before ordering new chargers, or getting new phones, I decided to throw a few bucks at these tiny little brushes to see if they would solve my problem – and they did! I spent a few minutes with each of our devices and these brushes, and our chargers are connecting flawlessly. My iPhone is even connecting better to the USB cable in my car for Apple CarPlay. To other reviewers’ points: Yes, these are quite delicate little brushes, and the cleaning job is a delicate operation. But, you don’t want to jam anything into your phone that’s too robust or you’ll break something. I used about two brushes on each device. They get a little bendy and wonky with use. The bristle tips can break off, especially if you twist them. I did find that if you bend the bristle end of the brushes over themselves in half, you do get a tool that’s a bit more stout.Just use the brush to delicately scrape all sides of the port interior. Left, right, front, back, top to bottom. Hold the phone upright and blow out the debris with some air occasionally. I had a flashlight handy to inspect my work. I will say that there was surprisingly little lint and dirt to remove, but apparently there was just enough to foul up the connections. If you’re having charging or other connection problems with your lightning port devices, it’s worth it to try these brushes to see if the problem is just a little gunk in your ports!

No not recommend
These seemed very cheap and not very effective to use to clean the charging port out. I threw them away after the first time I tried using them. Do not recommend.

3 star because they could be stronger but do the job use lightly if you have flint or dirt in your charging ports these will get the areas clean just use lightly

Works with caveats
The wire is very weak and bends with the slightest pressure. You can’t do any “sweeping” action with this brush. It needs to be an in and out action. Made cleaning the USB-C port take longer then expected but still got the job done. if the wire was stiffer, it would easily get more stars.

Good for the price
Bends easy. Would be better if it were firmer. But it works.

Terrible decision
Terrible product. Very flimsy. Doesnât have enough rigidity to remove debris from port area. Had to leave a star to review, but definitely didnât deserve one. Not even worth returning for my money back. Do not recommend
